Cherry Hill, NJ – June 2, 2007 – Alan Thesenvitz and Jonathan MacMillan finished ninth overall in the Varsity Pair event at the 2007 IRA National Championships held on Cooper River on Saturday. Temple University won the event in record time.

PAC-10 Universities dominated the 2007 IRA regatta. In major collegiate racing action, Washington University completed an undefeated season by winning the Varsity Eight event with Stanford and Harvard tied for silver. Brown was fourth, Cal fifth and Princeton rounded out the grand final.

Washington also won the JV Eights event, while UC Berkeley won the Freshman Eights, Varsity Fours and Freshman Fours event.
