The Trojan Navy concluded Spring Break 2005 by racing at the Long Beach Spring Regatta, held at the Long Beach Marine Stadium on Sunday March 20.

After a week long rowing camp in the Port of Sacramento, the Trojans were ready to show off their new found speed against local Southern California competition.

The day was originally set up as a dual meet with Cal State Long Beach (LBS), but the format was changed at the last moment with both USC and LBS entering the men’s novice four, novice eight and varsity fours events. Chapman College and Cal State Maritime also competed in the regatta.

USC swept all three events.
