Janet Burkle and her son John Burkle, a former member of the varsity squad, added to the list of their family’s gifts to USC recently when they donated a brand new Kaschper racing pair-shell to the Trojan Navy. The pair will be used for specialist training by the top members of the squad. “It is a great boat with all the state-of-the-art equipment and I know they need two-man boats,” wrote Janet in an email to alumni board chairman Jack Schumacher ‘54.
